Trinity Valley Community College is a community college that offers various programs, such as horticulture, nursing, surgical technology and adult education. Texas State Technical College is a coeducational, two-year, public technical college that is operated by the Texas State Technical College System. It offers a wide range of degree programs in information technology, engineering and manufacturing, health and sciences, business and commerce and transportation. The college also offers various academic courses, such as physics, English, mathematics, social and behavioral sciences and developmental education. The college provides specialized training and services for business and industry, noncredit continuing technical education and community service programs for the residents of east Texas.
