The Houston Fire Museum, established in 1982, is a community-engaging institution that educates and enlightens the public on fire and life safety while preserving the rich history and diverse heritage of Houston's fire service.
Currently closed for historic preservation with a reopening goal of Spring 2024, the museum's gift shop continues to operate and offers a wide range of fire-related merchandise. The museum's mission is to create a pathway of legacy by encouraging supporters to purchase custom engraved pavers in support of the preservation efforts.
