Dr. Mark Gottesman completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He graduated with a Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals in Houston, Texas. Performing newborn circumcisions was an integral part of Dr. Gottesman’s training. During his subsequent 33 years of full-time practice as an OB-GYN, he has performed over 4,000 circumcisions. Dr. Gottesman performs circumcisions only on newborn infants up until 2-3 months of age.
