Quaint and partially remodeled. I imagine it has been finished by now. Clean and inexpensive. Kind of retro.

Conveniently located on Main Street less than 1 mile from downtown Fredericksburg shopping and the National Museum of the Pacific War this hotel includes free Wifi and patio seating for each room. Many local wineries and tasting rooms are located within a 5 minute drive of the hotel. Each guest room at Hotel Kitsmiller on Main is furnished with flatscreen tv's a refrigerator microwave coffee maker and local Shotgun House Roasters Coffee. Cable tv for each room is also included. The Pioneer Museum and Texas Tech University at Fredericksburg are a five minute drive from the hotel. LBJ State Park is a 20 minute drive away and Enchanted Rock State Park is 19 miles away.

For the price it was clean and quiet. The only complaint would be the shower area could use a little attention but it works. Overall I felt like it was a clean room at a good price.

We booked this motel originally on priceline then priceline email had another place reserved. They were full and we came back here. It's a retro 1930's park right outside your room type of motel....

Oooof! A kind review would be "quaint and reflective of Fredricksburgs old town charm" but honestly, she's just run down and in dire need of a massive remodel. THE GOOD...the window unit AC worked...
