During her education, Dr. Pellicena was awarded the Arthur M. Farris Sr. MD Resident Research Award for her research on the genetics of pre-eclampsia in 2000.In 2004, Dr. Pellicena was board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and shes a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.Currently, Dr. Pellicena has admitting privileges at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital. As a native of Spain, Dr. Pellicena welcomes both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.When shes not practicing medicine, Dr. Pellicena spends time with her husband and twin children.
