Homesley's Nursery & Landscape

History

John and Cathy Homesley opened the doors to Homesley's Nursery & Landscape Co. in 1992. The couple are third generation nursery owners, having bought their first nursery, Lake June Garden Center, from John's parents in 1986. The Homesley's found the property in Forney, and sought to expand into a second location. After a few years with two locations, the Homesley's sold Lake June Garden Center and continued on with Homesley's Nursery & Landscape Co. For the last 23 years in the Forney location, the growing operation has evolved into a thriving, growing nursery.

Specialties

Here at Homesley's, we grow a large percentage of our own plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, and color plants. We offer spring vegetable gardening classes, sell fresh bulk garden seed, grow our own vegetable and herb plants, and can tell you how to raise them successfully. Homesley's Nursery has thousands of square feet of greenhouses to shop on cold, or rainy days, and acres of recommended trees shrubs, fruit trees, berries, grapes, and all the best native, and adapted plants for north central Texas.
