Highview Marina at Bardwell Lake

Tawakoni Marina is located on beautiful and quiet Lake Tawakoni one hour east of Dallas. The second largest lake totally within state borders, Tawakoni is considered one of, if not, the best fishing lakes in the state. Three fishing guides work out of the Marina and can be booked for private excursions. The Marina also offers temporary rental boat slips if you want to bring your own boat, or pontoon boats, kayaks, and bumper boats can be rented on-site. Five rental cabins are available, four of which are right on the water with open back decks from which you can fish, swim, temporarily tie up your boat, or just relax and enjoy the parade of boats going by.. Amenities also include a weekend food trolley, a convenience store,, a large playground and patio with a splash pad, a hammock pavilion, 24 hour gas, a launch ramp, corn hole, pickle ball, and gaga ball courts, outdoor pool and ping pong, and 25 acres of wooded hiking trails.
