The Heritage Farmstead Museum is a premier living history attraction in the DFW area. The 4 acre site includes 13 original historic structures that recall the early life in the Lone Star State. Its show piece is a 19th century mansion that dates back to 1891. It’s an ideal place to experience North Texas history first-hand or to wander into a simpler time and enjoy life on the Blackland Prairie.
