History

Hereford Vet Clinic was established by Dr. Steve Lewis in 1982 as a mixed animal practice. Dr. Lewis continues in the practice and primarily responsible for herd health consultation of beef cattle feedlots in the region. Dr. Lewis has been joined by 2 other partners, Dr. Mike Mimms and Dr. Kynan Sturgess. Dr. Mimm's primary activity is bovine embryo transfer and reproduction services. Dr. Sturgess is also involved with herd health consultation in feedlots, as well as advanced equine dentistry, large animal medicine and surgery and small animal medicine and surgery. An associated, Dr. Janey Gordon, is involved in both small animal medicine and surgery and large animal medicine and surgery.

Our practice offers state of the art on-site digital radiography, ultrasonography, and laboratory services. We pride ourselves on doing our best to obtain an accurate diagnosis along with providing treatment for you companion animals ailments.
