HistoryKem's Bed and Bath was the realization of a life long dream for our owner Kem Lester. In 1979 she and her husband Thomas moved their family to Amarillo and opened their first business. The store grew quickly and as the family grew up so did the business. Kem's sons Kipp and Kurt joined her in the operation of Kem's Bed and Bath and opened a store named Campus Collections in Westgate Mall. Kem and her son Kipp are now operating the business at the Kem's location at 34th and Coulter. Providing their neighbors and customers with beautiful textiles and accessories for their homes has always been a passion for the staff at Kem's. Kem passed away in May 2016, but her legacy lives on. Now conveniently located in Princeton Park in the Colonies neighborhood. 7820 Hillside Road.
