Greenville Fire Rescue Administration

Established in 1883, the Greenville Fire Department works to provide fire suppression and prevention and emergency medical services. It is comprised of more than 45 personnel and operates multiple fire stations. The department s fleet includes reserve pumpers, aerial quints, booster trucks, and command and rescue vehicles. The Greenville Fire Department maintains fire prevention, administration and emergency management divisions. It has an operations division that conducts fire prevention programs, performs building inspections, hydrant testing, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, and fire safety and first-aid training. The department issues open air burning permits and provides information regarding home safety. The Greenville Fire Department s communication center coordinates responses to fire and medical emergency and nonemergency calls for service. It is located in Greenville, Texas.
