Gordo's Tires & Automotive

History

Gordo's is a family owned business and has been opened since 1990. The shop started out as a small tire shop over by Magnolia St. with Gordo (Richard SR.) and his son, Richard JR. Three years later the shop moved to Market St. in Rockport, TX and slowly but surely, the shop started to grow with business. After the years passed on, Gordo gave his son the business, who then started making improvements. Richard started building bigger walls around his father's shop just three months before the hurricane. Although Hurricane Harvey caused a lot of damage, we were able to rebuild the building and make it bigger and better. We came back with more spirit, business, and upgrades. The shop went from having no space and damage, to a nice clean shop that now has an office with A/c, an alignment machine, a logo, a dyno, and many other upgrades. Now we do just about anything.

Specialties

We can pretty much do everything except for oil changes, inspections and rebuild transmissions. We do have a Dyno system so that way you can tune your vehicle up or test its horsepower. We also do tire patches, tire swaps, other tire work, and we sell used & new tires that we have in stock. We have Rent to Own with Progressive Leasing. This program is for customers who need/want a tire and/or rim now and still make payments up to 12 months. All you have to do is call or stop by our shop and see if you are able to apply for this program, and it's no credit needed! Our employees can get everything done within a short amount of time and with a great attitude. Not to mention we also have an office with tv, magazines, heater & A/c and a secretary that can help you find quotes and prices.
