History

In 1985, Paul Godfrey inherited the family business from his grandfather and renamed it Godfrey Business Consultants. The now named- Godfrey Business Consulting Services (GBCS) is still run by Paul Godfrey, and family operated.

Since the inception of Godfrey Business Consultants in 1989, Paul has assisted over 1,000 small business owners in multiple capacities - from opening startup companies to restructuring existing ones, assisting with consulting and monthly and/or annual accounting services, tax preparation and local, state and federal compliance issues. Helping the passionate business owner to understand the at times complicated issues of tax and compliance, and helping to relieve unnecessary burdens and stress is what Paul finds fulfilling about his career. With over 30 years' experience in the field of tax preparation, and having spent the past 26 years as a self-employed business man himself, Paul's skills as an exceptional problem solver and creative thinker set him apart from the average CPA - along with the fact that he is not a CPA. Assisting entrepreneurs to realize their dreams of successful and lucrative business ownership, Paul has experience working with business located in over 25 states and Mexico, and in 2015 opened up business relationships in Europe.
