Jaycee Zaragoza Recreation Center, established in 1980 by the City of Dallas, stands out as one of the first modern recreation centers specifically designed for its community. Initially offering recreational activities along with dental and limited medical services, the center has evolved to include a variety of sports facilities and program spaces.
In 2012, the center underwent a major renovation that enhanced its facilities, including a commercial kitchen upgrade, new fitness equipment, and the addition of a 2,500 square foot space. Named after a family land donation in 1987, Jaycee Zaragoza Park continues to serve as a hub for community engagement and recreational activities.

Nice, wide open park. On a weekend morning, filled with families and impromptu sports teams. Not as shady or tree filled as one might like - but still a nice spot to while away an afternoon....
