About the Gallery:: Gite launched Lloyd Gite Enterprises in 2001 with the express purpose of providing high quality African art to clients in the United States. His shopping travels have taken him to South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, the Ivory Coast, the Gambia, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Mali, Cameroon, and many other African destinations. He travels to the continent regularly, hand selecting the art, knowing his purchases help improve the quality of life for the artists' families. The Gite Gallery provides fine African art, including paintings in oil, acrylics, pen and ink, watercolors, and charcoal. All pictures are originals and are custom framed. The gallery also carries a variety of masks, statues, textiles, baskets, furniture, and Shona sculptures.
