History

Gift of Serenity Massage began in a professional commercial storefront, nestled in a friendly neighborhood business center and is presently located only a block away. As part of our local community I support the elementary schools, middle school, and high school, as well as the neighborhood association, and now the Adelphi Acre Community Garden. Approx 80% of my sessions come by word of mouth and many of my clients have been with me for over 10 years. The business name was chosen because I believe serenity is not something for which you can strive, but is a gift. My goal as a therapist is to create a quiet, comfortable environment and provide a personal approach so that you can receive the gift of serenity through massage. With that as a basis, we then can work to relieve pain, assist in injury recovery and establish preventative health care maintenance. I know your body and we have a relationship you can trust. And the ocean decor invites you to a personal seaside vacation!

Specialties

I integrate Swedish/relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and fascia lengthening techniques to tailor the massage to your needs. Customize your session around injury recovery, chronic stress patterns, one-time pains or

This is operated out of Ms. Burton's house, which I'll admit is a little strange at first, but once you get into the massage room it feels pretty much like a regular spa. (Albeit without saunas or...
