History

As a certified teacher working in an Austin preschool, parents wanted individualized attention for their children. I began a JUMP START group for early learners and it just grew from there! I have worked with children of all levels...from 2 years old to 6 years old, providing differentiated instruction in small groups. Through a mixture of learning and file folder games, hand-made / hands-on activities, songs, dances, word-plays, and manipulatives, I have created a fun, exciting, attention-grabbing, effective program. Preschoolers love learning. It's a perfect time to foster that love and create a confidence that will carry them through the primary years. I work with an average of 35 children every week. They all leave my classes smiling...and with a little bit more confidence.

Specialties

We provide 60- 90 minute discovery camps for 2 - 5 year olds. Children learn through Literature, Exploration, Art, and Play. Fun and exciting lessons are created around popular and classic children's books like Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom; It Looked Like Spilt Milk; My Many Colored Days; The Way I Feel; I'm The Biggest Thing In The Ocean; etc. We play, dance, sign, sing, create, explore, discover, and interact. Perfect for Preschoolers, Homeschoolers, Mom's groups, Mother's Day Out, and Play Groups.
