George Adesina, MD, MSPH, FACC

Shire Chaudhry, MD, is an internist who earned his medical degree from Ziauddin University, Ziauddin Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2018. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center in 2024. Dr. Chaudhry treats a variety of symptoms and conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, and kidney disease. He is especially interested in preventive healthcare and obesity management. Dr. Chaudhry prioritizes listening to his patients and providing clear, honest communication about diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations. He strives to educate his patients about their conditions so they can make informed decisions about their health. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2024.

In 2019, board-certified pediatrician Deborah Martinez, MD, FAAP, earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, Texas, where she also completed her residency in 2023. Dr. Martinez served as pediatric chief resident in her final year of residency. Having witnessed her youngest sister spend two months in the hospital due to prematurity, Dr. Martinez was inspired to become a pediatrician to help families facing similar challenges. She cares for infants, children, and adolescents for a wide array of conditions illnesses like colds, ear infections, and chronic issues such as ADHD and allergies She also proactively manages developmental milestones, vaccinations, and behavioral concerns. Dr. Martinez joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2023.

"Katrina Zalavarria is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) with experience in direct management of patients with acute and chronic illnesses. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 at the University of the Philippines Manila, College of Nursing. She completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2014 and achieved certification as a family nurse practitioner at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Nursing. Katrina has served in a number of nursing roles over the course of her career, including, most recently, family nurse practitioner positions at Pearland Family Medicine from June 2015 to March 2016 and at Memorial Hermann Medical Group - Friendswood from January 2017 to August 2020. She joined the Kelsey-Seybold Internal Medicine department in July 2021."
