Garland Christian Academy

Established in 1972, Garland Christian Academy serves more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. The school is operated by the Lavon Drive Baptist Church. Its provides education in physics, biology, chemistry, world history and economics to students in higher grades. The school also offers programs in Spanish and Latin. In addition, it conducts speech and language improvement classes. The school provides a range of extracurricular activities, such as visual arts, instrumental music and choir. Its sports program includes football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, cross country, soccer, golf, and track and field. The school conducts Bible lessons and provides weekly chapel services. Garland Christian Academy is affiliated with the Association of Christian Schools International and the Texas Organization of Christian Schools. It is located in Garland, Texas.
