Gardopia Gardens

Gardopia Gardens is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2015 to address health disparities in a high-crime corridor on the near Eastside of San Antonio. The organization is dedicated to growing healthy communities through garden-based learning and envisions a sustainable society empowered to lead healthy lifestyles through gardening.

With a focus on promoting health and environmental stewardship, Gardopia Gardens implements various programs, including Garden-Based Learning, Build a Garden Optimization, and Farmers Market initiatives. These efforts align with ten of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and aim to transform communities by encouraging neighbors to grow their own food.
