Ganado Independent School District

Ganado Independent School District serves the educational needs of more than 700 students in prekindergarten through grade 12 through its elementary, middle and high schools. Located in Ganado, Texas, the school district offers a variety of educational, enrichment and extracurricular programs to its students. Its curriculum includes English and language arts, social studies, science and technology, mathematics, business studies, computer science, fine arts, music and health and physical education. Ganado Independent School District has a library that offers fictions, nonfictions, magazines, newspapers, videos, audio books, tapes, CDs and reference materials. The school district provides summer reading programs for children ages 2 through 14 in summer vacations. Additionally, it offers young adult program for students in grades seven through 12. Ganado Independent School District also conducts classes in drug abuse resistance education for students in grades five and six.
