Ganache Cupcake Lounge
History
Ganache Company started out of Amber Schacter's kitchen in 2009. Word spread quickly, so she rented commercial kitchen space to create desserts for area restaurants, and grew to include catered events. By 2010, it was time to grow again. Ganache Cupcake Lounge was more than a bakery, it was a place Amber wanted to spend time with friends. The restaurant opened in Parker Square, and featured small plates, beer and wine, cupcakes and custom event cakes. Wichita Falls wanted more, and Ganache grew into a full-service restaurant which featured cupcakes. By 2017, Ganache Cupcake Lounge had outgrown it's current location. Looking to expand, Amber purchased the Historic Zales Building in Downtown Wichita Falls. Separating the full-service restaurant from the bakery quick service counter, the building is now home to Karat Bar & Bistro and Ganache To-Go. Starting December 8th: Ganache To-Go offers fresh, handmade food to go for people who work and live in Downtown Wichita Falls.
