The Galveston Historical Foundation (GHF) is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history and culture of Galveston, Texas. Through various properties such as the 1892 Bishop's Palace and the 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA, GHF offers unique educational experiences and events that highlight the city's historical significance.

In addition to its preservation efforts, GHF actively engages the community with a variety of programs and events, including trivia nights, tours, and heritage exhibitions. The foundation also supports the African American Heritage Committee to commemorate and protect historically significant sites for African Americans in Galveston.
