Frontera Produce

Frontera Produce, founded in 1993, is one of the leaders in the produce industry. Products offered by the company include Texas green and red cabbage, carrots, onions, raspberries, honeydews, seeded and seedless watermelons, and cantaloupes. It also offers chile peppers, such as jalapeno, serrano, poblano and Anaheim, pineapples, cilantro, limes, papayas, cornhusk, and mangos. The company has expanded into central and South America through the formation of Frontera Imports in Pompano Beach, Fla. Ken Nabal, formerly director of sales at Southern Specialties, is the managing partner for Frontera Imports. Frontera Produce is headquartered in Edinburg, and has locations in Houston, Dallas, and Clarksville, Texas.
