Friona Elementary School

Friona Elementary serves students in grades two through five and is a part of the Friona Independent School District. The school offers classes in several subjects, including mathematics, reading, English, language arts, social studies and science. It also provides various extracurricular activities, clubs and organizations governed by University Interscholastic League. The school offers special programs for gifted and talented, disabled, homeless, bilingual and migrant students. In addition, it provides various before- and after-school activities, such as play rehearsals, club meetings, athletic practices and tutorials. The school has a library that offers a collection of storybooks, picture dictionaries, magazines, reference materials and quiz books.
