Fred's Downtown Philly

We have been coming here twice a month for years. Fred's is the best cheesesteak in North Texas.

Oh my gosh, I got the regular Philly and it was SO GOOD! I also got the "Cajun fries" which would be more appropriately named New England fries because they were covered in Old Bay. Loved those...

So being from Philadelphia I am jaded by what I'm used to. This place was so good. We pick them up all the time. Fresh. Bread maybe not as good as Philly but damn close !!!!

Tried Fred's Downtown Philly a couple weeks ago. Cheesesteaks were pretty darn good and I'm told it's as close to authentic east coast as it gets. They have a bunch of pre-configured selections...

Great food !!! Yet if you walk in and the lady is at the front walk out!!! ASAP!! Her hospitality is shit. She will also attempt to over charge you. I can and ordered a sandwich with extra meat...
