History

We are an offshoot of the oldest catering business in Austin and a third generation family business that has served the Austin and surrounding area for 69 years. The vast majority of that time, you could only sample our delicious barbecue by booking or attending one of catered events. After decades of being asked to open a restaurant, we have decided to give it a go. The same barbecue that has been served to tens of thousands of folks from presidents to brides is now available on a daily basis via our website for pickup or delivery or right out our front door!

Specialties

We specialize in old fashioned, old school barbecue. We use the same recipes and processes we have used since 1952. Slow smoking over oak wood and taking care in pride in ever dish we make. 1, 2, or 3 meat plates with brisket, sausage & chicken to choose from. Traditional, scratch made sides, and an offering of drinks and desserts make us a a great lunch option or for family packs to take home! We look forward to seeing you!
