This was interesting but also a tad unnerving, with the high grass and chance for snakes, I was on edge walking through the area. The brochure was nice to explain the ruins. Things are weird...

This place is run down and in need of some serious pest control and mowing. the United States flag is tattered and needs to be replaced. Would not recommend going out of your way to visit. More...

if you like history this is neat. But mostly only chimneys left to see. Read the online web site for more history because there is not much there at the site.

Out here at the lake you get good houses on the best lake in Texas and the best view and fishing spots
