Forney Education Foundation

The Forney Education Foundation, established in 2004, is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities within Forney ISD by supporting innovative instructional programs and initiatives. To date, the foundation has provided over $1.165 million in grants to classroom teachers, ensuring that students receive the resources they need to succeed.

In addition to its innovative grant program, the foundation operates several community-driven initiatives like Project Backpack, which supplies over 1,500 students with essential school supplies, and sponsors STEAM camps that promote learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The foundation also hosts various events throughout the year, including the Antlers and Tutus Fun Run and the Annual Gala, to engage the community and raise funds for its programs.
