Five Points Distilling

We craft Lone Elm Wheat Whiskey with a high standard of quality, to produce a premium grain-to-glass whiskey that is uniquely representational of Texas. It begins with locally-grown soft red winter wheat that is mashed and fermented using traditional, grain-in methods and open fermenters. We don’t separate our grains from our mash until after the mash has been distilled, maximizing the impact of the Texas wheat on the flavor profile of our whiskey. We distill our mash in small batches using traditional copper pot stills, making fine cuts to carefully optimize flavor profile before we tender the hearts to new select American white oak barrels for maturation inTexas heat. Our process yields straight wheat whiskey which is rich dark amber in color with ambrosial flavors of dried cherry, dates, black raisins, and boasts a hearty, smooth finish.
