History
My Photography started when I was in the 7th grade, a wise teacher handed me a camera and said I was going to be the Candid Photographer for the Jr High newspaper. A love affair was born in Amarillo, Texas. It followed me to the paper and yearbook in High School in Georgetown, Texas but follow me it did. I loved to tell a story with my lens. People started asking me to shoot weddings, portfolios and other Special Occasions. Good side money for a teenager. My other love was Theatre and the 2 went hand in hand at college. The lighting courses as well as blocking and placement. I got derailed by a husband and 3 kids but they gave me plenty to watch through the lens. Why through our hobbies we ended up all over the country on many movie sets. That and my friendship with Trace Adkins kept the shutterbug in me busy. Not to mention 3 very active children. That's where the sports comes in from shooting tee-ball to peewee football, ballet to cheerleading plus sports. Then came Filly's Fhotos.
