History

Family First Counseling (FFC) was founded by Megan R. Pickens, LPC-S in September 2009. In the beginning all services were home-based due to the needs of clients previously seen at NorthPointe Family Center. At the end of that employment she needed space to practice on her own. FFC was born. Our first office was a sublease from Mosaic Church and its minister Stephen Hammond. We operated out of that office for eight months. FFC then began to lease space in the Newport Office Park where they remained for one and a half years.
