Exploration Park is a captivating public playground situated adjacent to the north side of Willow Fork Drainage District’s Diversion Channel, in close proximity to Creech Elementary. Unveiled in 2015, the park caters to a diverse range of age groups and stands out as a unique recreational spot in the region. Over the years, the District has expanded the park, introducing a 48-space parking lot in 2016 and a restroom facility featuring two family areas in 2020.

The park's design is deeply rooted in fostering children’s play, promoting environmental awareness, incorporating educational elements, and drawing inspiration from water-related themes. It boasts a versatile play area, an expansive lawn for free-form play, and a covered pavilion equipped with picnic tables. Visitors can enjoy various play features including a sensory garden, swings, a musical bridge, a raindrop berm lawn, as well as a slide tower and bridge leading to a hill slide. An interactive water cycle wall offers a hands-on learning experience illustrating the water cycle, while informational signage encourages water conservation.

Exploration Park welcomes guests during daylight hours, with the pavilion available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park does not accept reservations for private use of its facilities, maintaining an open and accessible environment for all visitors to enjoy. With its thoughtful design elements and educational offerings, Exploration Park serves as a vibrant community hub for recreation, learning, and environmental appreciation.
