Exploration Green is a 200-acre urban greenspace located in Southeast Houston, designed to provide natural solutions for seasonal flooding while serving as a nature preserve and recreational area. Home to over 1,000 native species, it features 40 acres of wetlands and permanent stormwater management lakes, promoting conservation and exploration.
The Exploration Green Conservancy is dedicated to engaging the community in environmental stewardship through various programs and volunteer opportunities. Perfect for running, walking or reading a book on a bench. The flowers are beautiful, ducks in the pond, fountains in the water. The sidewalks are wide enough for several people.

Wonderful place to walk, observe birds, & look at plants & trees. I've lived in several places & consider this the best civic improvement project I've seen.
