Emily K Robinson , MD

Adelaide Hebert, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric dermatologist specializing in dermatologic conditions, hyperhidrosis, and vascular anomalies. She provides thoughtful, patient-centered care. Hebert has been the chief of pediatric dermatology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital for over 30 years. She has been actively engaged in dermatology clinical research during that time, with a strong focus on atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and hyperhidrosis. She’s a past president of the Women’s Dermatologic Society and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology.

Rodrigo Hasbun, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained infectious disease specialist focused on central nervous system infections, meningitis, West Nile virus, encephalitis, and other conditions. He’s a professor and Graham Faculty Fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Hasbun obtained his medical degree at the Autonomous University of Central America in 1990. He completed his internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1994. He followed this with fellowship training in infectious diseases and clinical research at Yale University in 1997. During this time, he conducted research in meningitis and endocarditis that has been incorporated into national guidelines. Hasbun’s studies on meningoencephalitis have received various grants and funding. In collaboration with the University of Houston, he expanded neurocognitive studies to include other infectious diseases, such as West Nile virus infection. Additionally, as co-investigator of the R01-funded West Nile encephalitis cohort study, he has led a collaborative neurological, neuropsychological, and ophthalmological evaluation of West Nile patients with a subset of patients also undergoing electromyography and volumetric MRI. He is a co-investigator of the U24-funded National Neuro AIDS Tissue Consortium that enrolls patients at Thomas Street Health. He was also a panel member of the first health care-associated ventriculitis and meningitis guidelines in 2016 and the main author of the meningitis chapters in the main textbook of infectious diseases, “Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases,” and five chapters on UpToDate, the main online resource for clinicians.

Deborah B. Horn, DO, MPH, is a board-certified physician committed to the long-term treatment of the disease of obesity. By utilizing the latest technology and medical support, her comprehensive approach to care includes improvement in obesity-associated comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis pain. Horn is committed to individualized patient care, emphasizing balanced, comprehensive treatment. She’s an international leader in obesity medicine. She’s also an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and the medical director of the UT Physicians Center for Obesity Medicine and Metabolic Performance. Horn graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by graduate school at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She received her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her preventive medicine residency at the University of South Carolina and her family medicine residency at Houston Methodist Hospital. Horn is a former faculty member at the world-renowned Duke University Diet and Fitness Center. Outside of work, she’s a physical activity enthusiast who enjoys running, indoor cycling, strength training, and paddle boarding.
