Nice people, good runway, nice FBO. The airport appears to be the new home of the 747 that carried the Space Shuttle, so if you come in on your small plane, you get a big WOW effect!

Small air base but very accomodating for military personnel. All kinds of neat air shows and the access is very simple. It's about 5 minutes from I-45 or BW-8. I do the 9/11 Heroes run every year...
