Good authentic Jalisco-style food with a distinctly homemade flavor, El Sombrero de Jalisco serves breakfast through dinner, with lunch specials from 11-2 pm and happy hour from 2-7 pm. Open since 2005, El Sombrero de Jalisco is family operated by Jaime Melendez and his wife, Catalina. Jaime is quick to laugh, but becomes serious when asked what he likes most about the restaurant "Darle gusto a la gente lo mas que pueda" - give as much enjoyment as possible to others. The food and service are fantastic. Excellent Mexican shrimp cocktail and charo beans. Beer served in ice chilled mugs. 5 stars. Bill
