Mission El Paso Electric (EPE) first began serving its customers on August 30, 1901. It was then known as the El Paso Electric Railway Company. Initially its primary business consisted of providing transportation via mule-drawn streetcars, which were replaced in 1902 with electric streetcars. Today, El Paso Electric is a regional electric utility providing generation, transmission and distribution service to approximately 392,000 retail and wholesale customers in a 10,000 square mile area of the Rio Grande valley in west Texas and southern New Mexico. Its service territory extends from Hatch, New Mexico to Van Horn, Texas. El Paso Electric takes pride in being an active corporate citizeninthecommunitiesitserves.Contributing to our communities is an expressed part of our corporate mission statement, and as such, it helps to define our corporate purpose and mold the actions taken by our employees. I hate that every year the bill gets higher but that's why we work right? Anyways, I give them 4 stars because they work well with military and they know we get paid on the 1&15th if every month...

HORRIBLE service! The quality is awful , the payment are ridiculously high too for service that's not worth it. Everytime it rains ( just sprinkles ) the power goes out. This is horrible service...

No human to answer phones the automated service is worthless. The automated doesn't answer all questions. What's the use. In on the budget plan, they raise the price.
