El Fenix has been a Foet Worth institution for decades. I usually go to the Camp Bowie location. However, my kiddo works in Burleson so we decided to stop by this location after her shift ended....

Very few restaurants have the staying power to celebrate even a quarter-century of service, but El Fenix celebrated their Centennial! Founded in 1918, by Mike Martinez, a Mexican immigrant, El Fenix is credited as “The Originator of Tex-Mex Cuisine.” It has been named an “All American Icon” by Nation’s Restaurant News and a must-see dining destination for visitors to North Texas. Their lemon pie is off the chain. Absolutely amazing and so worth trying!! Whether you stop in for a slide or pick up a whole pie to go.

Placed an on line order waited to the pick up time to arrive and go in to find out they had not even started the order. Had to wait another 15 minutes, which in fact caused a 45 minute delay when...

Always stop here when I'm coming from Winstar. Too bad they don't have EL Fenix there anymore because it was our go to. This location hasn't disappointed yet.
