Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart is located in Houston. Established in 1960, the academy is a part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools. It offers a college-preparatory curriculum that focuses on the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical development of children. The academy provides a wide range of facilities for students, including specialized classroom buildings, a fine arts building and theater, chapel, gymnasium, tennis courts and sports fields. It also provides an art room, music room and fully equipped laboratories. The school offers chemistry, biology, physics, language and computer laboratories for students. Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest.
