This local bbq joint is right off Hwy 124 near the exit off i-10 at Loves/Arby's. The food was great, with huge portions. It seems like one of those local gems and it's a great stop on a road...

Delicious donuts and tacos! Not to mention the service was incredible! The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and polite! Definitely stopping by next time we drive through!

Had the BarBQue Rib plate. Looks like the ribs were done on the oven and were smoked. Also had the pinto beans and jambalaya rice. The beans were good but the jambalaya rice seemed more like dirty...

Wednesday and Thursday Doug offers bbq chicken and ribs. I had the chicken with potato salad and his awesome jambalaya plus an added sausage link. The sausage was juicy and smoky cooked perfectly....
