Deep East Texas Self Insurance Fund (DETSIF) was established in 1974 by a group of East Texas Governmental Entities to provide workers compensation coverage to Schools, Counties, Cities, and other Districts. Since its inception, DETSIF has steadily grown its membership across the state of Texas while maintaining its commitment to safety procedures and injury prevention for employees.

DETSIF offers a range of services including safety supplies, inspections, consultations, and claims reviews to support its members in maintaining a safe work environment. With over 1000 Safety Films available online at no charge, DETSIF continues to prioritize safety training programs for its members.
