Established in 1946, Tony DeMaria's Bar-B-Que in Waco, TX, has been a family-owned and operated establishment since its inception. Originally opened as a grocery store and meat market by Tony DeMaria Jr., the restaurant evolved to serve barbecue to road crews during the construction of Interstate Highway 35.

In 1995, the business relocated to a new building while continuing to serve the same beloved recipes that have been a staple since the 1950s.
