Davis Middle School

Candlewood Elementary School offers classes from prekindergarten through grade five. It offers instruction in reading, writing, math, technology and science. Its reading classes consist of a variety of genres and materials, including modeled, shared, guided and independent practice. The school also operates programs, such as reading nights, award assemblies and club festivals. Located in San Antonio, Candlewood Elementary School is a part of the Judson ISD that is an independent school system with more than 18,000 students. It encompasses over 55 square miles and serves the incorporated cities of Converse, Kirby, Selma, Live Oak, Universal City, San Antonio and Schertz in Texas. The district is fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency.

Established in 1955, Schenck Elementary School serves more than 700 students in prekindergarten through grade six. It offers a range of general academic and extracurricular courses. The school s staff includes several teachers, Title I assistants, special education instructors, and office and support personnel. Its facility includes a library, computer laboratory, cafeteria and clinic. The school also offers sessions in life skills management and speech development. In addition, it offers a variety of programs in music and physical education. The school operates several student organizations, such as a choir, safety patrol and badminton team. It has a parent-teacher association that supports and sponsors various school events and activities. Located in San Antonio, the school is a part of the San Antonio Independent School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
