David Garcia, NP

Zehra Jaffer, DNP, completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing at Union University in Tennessee, in 2009 and 2011 respectively. She then completed an Endocrinology specialty certification followed by earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Union University in 2023. As Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, Zehra believes her role as a nurse practitioner fulfills her purpose in life. She provides patient-centered care for patients presenting with various Endocrinology conditions such as diabetes. For these patients, she strives to not only treat but also prevent diabetes complications and to treat each patient holistically. Zehra joined Kelsey-Seybold in December 2023.

Tricia Smith, FNP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Houston, in 2015 and 2023 respectively. As nurse practitioner, Tricia provides general OB/GYN care, including preventive screenings, prenatal care, postpartum care, and treatment for symptoms of menopause. She strives to create a safe space while actively listening to create lasting connections with her patients. Tricia joined Kelsey-Seybold in November 2023.

Jonathan Norwood MSN, APRN, FNP-C, graduated from the Cizik School of Nursing at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2013, earning Summa Cum Laude honors. He then completed the MSN Family Nurse Practitioner program at Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois, in 2017, graduating with distinction. His interests include chronic kidney disease management, home dialysis training, and kidney transplants. He also enjoys discussing plant-based diets with his patients. What he likes most about practicing medicine is being able to positively impact his patients' health. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2024.
