Danner s began in the late 1930s, when a Houston police officer, D.D. Danner, recognized that the Houston area needed a security service to meet security needs during the war years. In 1939, Danner established Danner s Security Service. As a result of continued success in the security field, the company expanded to meet growing demands by opening offices in Galveston, Corpus Christi, Freeport and Port Arthur, Texas. All company offices offer complete services to the marine industry that includes crew transportation, spares and freight handling, security, centralized accounting and warehouse space.
