History

I launched Sloppy Photography in 2015 to provide wedding, event, and portrait photography to the greater Austin area after a freelance writing career in which I routinely met fifty or more deadlines per month. As photojournalism became more integral to the work I was doing and I enjoyed it more and more, I gravitated to it until finally committing to photography full time.

Specialties

I believe in hockey ethics: we are a team, and we share a goal--capturing and preserving your special day for all time. On your wedding day I will be your editorial eye, your source of composure, your most adoring fan, and your biggest (constructive) critic. I take a poised but candid approach to capturing what makes you extraordinary. Underneath this poise and patience I am an enforcer and I get things done.
