In 2015, experienced birth business owners Maria Pokluda and Maryn Taylor collaborated to form Dallas-Ft. Worth Placenta. By working as a team, we are able to ensure that your placenta is picked up promptly, processed safely, and returned quickly - often before our clients leave the hospital. Every part of the encapsulation experience has been carefully thought out to ensure your convenience and safety. We offer our unique transportation kits designed to provide a safe way to transport your precious placenta; 24/7 on-call service; your choice of encapsulation location; your choice of encapsulation method; and a variety of add-on services to ensure that your placenta is prepared exactly as you like. Our training includes OSHA bloodborne pathogen safety, a Texas food handlers' course, and placenta-specific courses through APPA (Association of Placenta Preparation Arts). We're a little obsessed with safety!
