While playing for the Redskins, Curtis opened several successful restaurants in the Washington, D.C. area and knew that this was to be his career after his playing days were over. In 1992, Curtis 'came home' to Lubbock and continued in the restaurant business opening the old Whaler's Bay and in 1999, he opened Cujo's Sports Bar & Grill. In addition to great food, fun atmosphere and the coldest beer in Texas, it is truly a monument to the world of sports. Much of the memorabilia you see on the walls at Cujo's comes from Curtis' private collection. There are over 40 TV's, Interactive Games, Pool and of course West Texas most popular sport . . . socializing!

My second visit here, great place! Had a wonderful server, she was busy with a few tables but I never felt neglected or waiting for service. Tacos were great! Thx Peyton!

Hi there! I used to be a big fan of Cujo's, they recently got some new servers and the service became unlikable. I will say that some of the bartenders were very welcoming and were happy to serve...

Oh man were these bad boys crispy.... burn victim's are in better shape than this meal. They need new cooks that take pride in their work.
