The Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center, also known as CCRC, is a vocational rehabilitation training facility that serves visually impaired individuals in Texas. The center offers classes that focus on topics related to daily living skills, career development, and orientation and mobility. It promotes the learning of basic blindness skills. Through its community and outreach department, the center offers diabetes consultation services. The Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center is a part of the DARS Division for Blind Services, which is operated by the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. The DARS Division for Blind Services also offers employment assistance, counseling, food preparation and money management solutions.
